Overview
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Employed Mortgage Adviser to join our growing team in Basildon. This role is ideal for a qualified adviser who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, tailored mortgage and protection advice.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to clients, ensuring recommendations are suitable and compliant.Conduct thorough fact-finds to understand clients’ financial circumstances, needs, and objectives.Source and recommend mortgage products from a panel of lenders.Guide clients through the full mortgage application process from initial enquiry to completion.Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with regulatory requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other introducers.Keep up to date with mortgage products, market trends, and regulatory changes.Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales and performance targets.

Requirements

Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification).Previous experience as a Mortgage Adviser or Mortgage Broker.Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lending criteria.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage a pipeline and meet targets.High level of attention to detail and compliance awareness.Self-motivated with a professional and customer-focused approach.

Desirable

Experience working in an estate agency or brokerage environment.Existing client bank or introducer relationships.

Working Hours
