We are seeking an experienced and motivated Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser to join our growing network across North Kent. Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored, whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to a wide range of clients.Conduct detailed fact-finds to assess client needs, financial circumstances, and affordability.Source and recommend suitable mortgage and insurance products from an extensive lender panel.Manage the full client journey from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring a high level of customer service.Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with FCA regulations.Proactively generate business through self-sourced leads, introducers, estate agents, and referrals.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and local introducers.Stay up to date with market trends, lender criteria, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification).Proven experience as a Mortgage Adviser or Broker.Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage and protection market.Ability to generate and convert leads independently.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own pipeline.High level of professionalism and compliance awareness.
Desirable
Existing client bank or introducer relationships within North Kent.Experience in a whole-of-market or brokerage environment.
