Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Protection Adviser to join their expanding team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Protection Adviser to join a thriving business with a consistent flow of high-quality leads and referrals. Working alongside an experienced team of mortgage advisers, you will provide expert advice on a range of protection products, helping clients secure the financial protection they need for themselves and their families.
The successful candidate will focus on conducting client consultations, identifying protection needs, recommending suitable solutions, and guiding clients through the application process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Provide compliant advice on protection products including:
Life InsuranceCritical Illness CoverIncome ProtectionFamily Income BenefitRelevant Life PlansPrivate Medical Insurance (where appropriate)
Conduct fact-finds and protection reviews with new and existing clients.Convert warm leads generated through the firm's mortgage and introducer network.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Ensure all recommendations meet FCA and company compliance standards.Liaise with providers, underwriters, and administrators throughout the application process.Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Protection Adviser, Protection Consultant, or Mortgage & Protection Adviser.Strong knowledge of the UK protection market.A proven track record of converting protection opportunities.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Self-motivation and a results-driven approach.A commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes.Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliant advice processes.
